Peterborough to kick on from where they left off.

Arguably the unluckiest team in the league football last season was The Posh who found themselves winning their last 7 out of 9 games and charging into the play-off spots only to have it taken away from them due to the worldwide pandemic and cruelly moved out of the top 6 with Wycombe cartwheeling their way into the play offs.

They will have to put all of that behind them this season and get on with the job and Darren Fergusons men look a good bet to kick off the season doing what they did best last season and that is score goals! They have lost their goal machines and the league’s top scorer in Ivan Toney but the man in the boardroom Darragh MacAnthony has done extremely well in getting Bristol Rovers top goal scorer Jonson Clark- Harris and I feel he is a good enough replacement in a team that breaths goals to partner Mohamed Eisa throughout the season to see this posh team carry on their free flow attacking football.

I’m not a massive fan of betting in the first few weeks of the season especially in the current situation we are in with none of the teams having a full preseason but I cant help thinking that Peterborough will just be too strong up top for Accrington Stanley.

However, I am not taking the win market on Peterborough today (even though I wouldn’t put anyone off of it) but just for the above reason with the current uncertainty and the fact that Accrington can score goals, scoring more last season than any team in the bottom 12, I am going with Peterborough to score 2+ goals in the match at 11/10 with Sky Bet which they have done on their last 3 occasions against Stanley winning all 3 matches and scoring 10 goals in the process.

Saturday’s Bet: Peterborough To Score 2+ Goals 11/10 on Sky Bet (1 point win)
