Battle of two unbeaten AFC sides as the 4-0 Bills travel to Nashville to face the 3-0 Titans in a game we weren’t sure we’d even get.

The home side Titans have had a bit of a nightmare recently with a lot of their players and staff testing positive for COVID-19 and that ultimately meant their week 4 game against the Steelers had to be postponed and it looked for a long time like they wouldn’t be able to play this one either, originally scheduled for Sunday and moved to tonight there were even whispers yesterday that the game might go ahead but here we are and a few hours away from KO we have a ball game and with the possibility of game forfeits being mentioned no one will be happier than the Titans. With last week becoming their bye week and this being a Tuesday night game it feels like the Titans haven’t played football in forever yet they are unbeaten and unsurprisingly it’s Derrick Henry who is the focal point of this offense and hasn’t had less that 25 carries in any game to start the season and has averaged over 100 yards per game with 319 on the season. Ryan Tannehill has been steady to start the year in throwing 6 TD’s against just 1 INT but that Interception did come in their last game where he also failed to throw a TD pass against the Vikings but he does welcome back his #1 WR AJ Brown who has missed the last two games but should be good to go in this one. On Defense it hasn’t been a great start and they’ve shipped 30 or more points in their last two games but their is talent on this Titan defense and they’ve picked off both Gardner Minshew and Kirk Cousins twice in their last two outings so there are playmakers on this side of the ball for the Titans and they’ll have to show up here against a red-hot Bills offense.

The Buffalo Bills are 4-0, have a 2 game lead on the AFC East and Josh Allen is looking like a real MVP candidate. I’m not sure if I’m dreaming but if so I never want to wake up! This Bills is one of the best in the league at the moment, Josh Allen has thrown 12 TD’s against only 1 INT and to say that was a questionable decision from the officials is an understatement and all of his pass catching weapons are playing well, no one more so than Stefon Diggs who has started life as a Buffalo Bill on fire and has posted two 100+ yard receiving games through 4 weeks and has given this offense the true #1 pass catcher they’ve long needed. It’ll be important for the Bills to use the running game here as the Titans have struggled to stop it all year and whilst Devin Singletary has been solid we’re yet to see his breakout game and this game has the potential to be it if the Bills lean on him equally Josh Allen has had a subdued season on the ground and since his 14 attempt 57 yard game in week 1 has yet to have more than 4 rush attempts in a game which is crazy for such a dual threat QB and yes he’s been lights out with his arm but against what has been a porous Run D we might see a little bit of the old Josh Allen on the ground here. The Defense hasn’t been great to start the season which has been a surprise as this was one of the best units in the league last year but things started to look up in the Raiders game last week where the Bills managed to keep Josh Jacobs under 50 yards on 15 carries and the whole attitude of the Defense seemed to change when Josh Norman forced a fumble from Darren Waller and if that grittier attitude carries through to this game we could see this Defense step up.

I’m sure the Bills, like the rest of the league are rightly pissed at the Titans, it appears they’ve not quite been playing by the rules and with games having to be moved and things changing to accommodate them I doubt sits well with this Bills team and I expect them to come into Nashville and play pissed off and get the win but there is always a danger that Derrick Henry gets going and the Titans establish a run game which eats up the clock and keeps this Bills offense off the field but I’m fully on the Josh Allen bandwagon and I’m riding it until the wheels fall off.

The Titans have given up a TD to a Tight End in all three games they’ve played so far this season.
