The Cowboys are looking to get to back to .500 on the season and pull ahead atop the NFC East and welcome a Cardinal side who’re in a real battle second place in the NFC West currently sitting 3-2 on the year.
The Cowboys are coming off a close win against the New York Giants but the big news in that game was the loss for the year of QB Dak Prescott who suffered a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle so Andy Dalton takes control of the offense going forward and managed to lead the game winning drive against the Giants so although the Offense will miss a lot by losing Dak they should still have enough firepower to put points on the board. The big issue is with the Defense who seem unable to stop anyone but they’re going to have to step up now as they can’t expect Andy Dalton to throw for 500 yards and post 40+ points week in week out.
Looking to take advantage of this porous Cowboy Defense is Kyler Murray and his favourite target, DeAndre Hopkins who combined plenty in their last outing against the Jets to the tune of 131 yards and TD for the man known as Nuk and if the ball hasnt been thrown to Nuk its been Kyler Murray taking it himself and running all over the place and has 5 rushing TD’s in 5 games and I expect him to give the Cowboys about all they can handle tonight. The Defense has been about average on the year and will have to step up tonight if they’re going to keep up with the Offensive weapons America’s Team have.
I think this is going to be a close game but I think getting the Cardinals at even money when the Cowboys have lost their starting QB is value too good to turn down.
