It’s Tua time in Miami! After a short cameo in the easy win against the Jets before their bye week the Dolphins took the decision to name the rookie their new starter in place of the veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick and in Tua’s first start he gets the pleasure of trying to avoid arguably the best defensive player in football, Aaron Donald who I’m sure will be planning on delivering a real “welcome to the NFL” moment and this Rams defense on the whole have been making QB’s lives hell with 24 Sacks on the year which ranks 3rd in the NFL and not only are they able to get after the passer but they also make his life difficult with their pass defense which is a top 10 unit and with Tua not having much of a run game to lean on he really has it all to do in his first start.
The Rams are 5-2 and are LA’s best shot at completing the Holy Grail (LA sides have already won the NBA and MLB Championships) and if that dream is going to become a reality it’ll be on the back of their run game (at least on the Offensive side of the ball) which is another top 10 unit and should far outmatch this Miami run defense. I think if Goff can look after the ball then the Rams can again lean on their run game when they have the ball and limit Tua and the Miami Offense to a low enough score to pick up the win, the first over Miami since 2001.
