The Colts come off their bye week and travel to the Motor City where the Detroit Lions, coming off of back to back wins will be waiting.
The Lions were gifted the opportunity to get their second win in as many games by Todd Gurley who had the chance to ice the game for a Falcons win by not scoring a TD (only in football can you lose a game by scoring when not scoring would’ve won you it!) but seemingly forgot until it was too late, this score gave the Lions the ball back with enough time on the clock for Matt Stafford to work and work he did finding TJ Hockenson in the end zone for the winning score.
I’ve found this a really tough game to call and to bet on but I’m going to take the Colts to win a close one and I’m going to put my trust, maybe for the last time if he lets us down here, in Jonathan Taylor. I think his total yards number being under 90 is leaving something on the table for us in a game where I can see the Colts riding him to victory.
PREDICTION: COLTS 27 – 26 LIONS
BEST BET: Jonathan Taylor over 88.5 total yards – 5/6 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.
