Brady and the Bucs head to the big apple looking for their third win in a row and what would be their sixth of the season. Standing in their way, the 1-6 New York Giants.
The Bucs are becoming a scary football team, not only do the possess an embarrassment of riches on the offense for Brady to utilise and utilise he did last week with a 369 yard, 4 TD showing against a Raiders defense which only yesterday locked down the Cleveland Browns, and on top of the weapons Brady already has he’ll be strengthened further with the addition of Antonio Brown who is eligible to play next week. As impressive as the Offense is becoming I am even more impressed with the stifling Defense who’re League best against the run and no slouches at stopping air attacks either and with a Giants side who haven’t been able to run the ball all season and a QB who has only thrown 5 TD passes all season I think they should hold up just fine here
The Giants have played back to back 1 point NFC East games, coming out victorious against Washington but losing narrowly to the Eagles in what is a complete mess of a division but at least Daniel Jones has somewhat improved after going 4 games without a TD pass he now has 3 in 2 games, albeit against weak divisional foes. The Defense is nothing to shout about I doubt will be able to hold up against this high powered Bucs attack although I’m looking forward to seeing if Joe Judge’s familiarity with Tom Brady leads to any Giants success against the Bucs passing game.
This is a Bucs win, anything other than a 10 point cushion should be considered a shock so we’re leaving that alone but I do like Mike Evans chances of scoring tonight, he had scored in every game until the last two and has 6 TD’s on the season and with Chris Godwin out injured he should be Brady’s main target, he also has 5 career TD’s in 4 games against the Giants, 4 of them coming in New York.
PREDICTION: BUCS 33 – 17 GIANTS
BEST BET: Mike Evans anytime TD – 6/5 with Betfair. 1 point bet.
