It appears good TNF games are like busses, you wait forever and then two turn up! Last week we were treated to a battle atop the AFC South and now this week we get an even bigger and better (on paper) game as the 6-3 Arizona Cardinals travel to the Pacific North West to take on the 6-3 Seattle Seahawks in a divisional game which could have massive implications down the road when we get to the post-season.

The Cardinals won what was arguably the game of the year so far last week against the Buffalo Bills when down by four with two seconds left on the game clock, Kyler Murray found DeAndre ‘Nuk’ Hopkins who was draped by in coverage by not one, not two but three Pro Bowl Defensive Backs and still managed to catch the 50 yard ‘Hail Mary’ to win the game only thirty seconds after Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs thought they’d connected for the game winning TD. This win combined with the LA Rams beating the Seahawks on the same night moved all three NFC West sides to 6-3 leaving the division wide open, currently the Cardinals sit atop the West and after handing Seattle their first defeat of the season hold the tiebreaker over them, a win for the Cards here gives them the sweep and makes winning the division extremely difficult for the Hawks.

Seattle lost again on Sunday which marks their third loss in their last four games after starting 4-0 but even more worryingly for Seattle will be the decline in Russell Wilson’s play over the last two weeks in which he has twice the amount of interceptions than he does TD’s and against the Rams had his first scoreless game of the year but even with Russ struggling to cook the biggest issue is still with the Seahawks pass defense, the unit is easily the worst in football allowing over 353 yards per game average this season and after allowing Murray to throw for 360 yards on them in their first meeting the U/O 282.5 passing yards, a number that Seattle have only been able to keep one QB under all season seems like good value.

I’m expecting to see a similar shootout type game here to the one we saw these two sides play out just a few weeks ago and with Arizona scoring 30 or more points in their last 5 games and up against a porous Seattle pass defense, Russell Wilson will have to be at his best to keep his Seahawks side in it but this is a game they just have to win and I think they’re a side too talented to lose 3 in a row.

BEST BET: Kyler Murray over 282.5 passing yards โ€“ 5/6 with SkyBet. 2 point bet.

NEXT BEST: Arizona to score 27.5+ match points โ€“ 10/11 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.
