The Saints keep marching on in their quest to secure the NFC South and they travel to Philly to take on a three win Eagles side who still, miraculously, have a chance at winning their own division!
The Saints beat the Falcons last week with Taysom Hill actually looking like a QB and not a glorified Running Back! The Saints offense will keep on marching regardless of who’s under Center as long as Sean Payton is calling the plays and the defense has been arguably the NFL’s best in recent weeks.
The Eagles finally did what needed to be done and benched Carson Wentz meaning that rookie QB, Jalen Hurts will make his first NFL start and he couldn’t have been handed a more difficult task. The Eagles best player on offense is Running Back, Miles Sanders but unfortunately no one seems to have made Doug Pederson and the Eagles aware as he is criminally underused.
I can’t not take the Saints here in this one, their defense has been stifling recently and up against a rookie passer and an uninspiring play caller. As for my best bet we’re going with Miles Sanders, the runner hasn’t been used properly all season and his U/O rushing attempts total is set at a measly 12.5 which, amazingly he’s gone under in his last two games and we think he’ll make that three in a row.
PREDICTION: SAINTS 24 – 20 EAGLES
BEST BET: Miles Sanders UNDER 12.5 rushing attempts – 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
