Huge game with playoff implications for both teams, the Ravens are on the outside looking in of the AFC playoff race whilst the Giants are still in a battle for their division knowing that only the winner in the poor NFC East will progress to the post season.
The Ravens are on a three game winning streak and appear to be clicking on offense at just the right time. JK Dobbins has taken a bigger role with more touches and better production which really helps set up what they’re trying to do as an offense. The defense is still one of the leagues best and has playmakers all over, something that the Giants will have to be wary of as they turn the ball over a fair amount.
Big Blue have looked good in recent weeks but are coming off of back to back losses where the team has failed to put up more than a single score, and against this Baltimore defense I think they’ll be hard pressed to improve on that. Their defense is pretty good and that’s what has kept them in games and they’re especially talented against the run which makes this an interesting strength v strength matchup.
I’m going to take the Ravens here, they won’t have it all their own way running the ball but they’re the better team, in good form and know how to get to the post season, and I think they’ll get themselves a win here.
As for my best bet, we’re going back to JK Dobbins and his U/O 15.5 rushing attempts, he’s yet to carry the rock more than 15 times in a game as the Ravens deploy a committee approach to their backfield, so we’ll take the under.
PREDICTION: RAVENS 24 – 14 GIANTS
BEST BET: JK Dobbins UNDER 15.5 Rushing Attempts – 5/6 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.
