Top against bottom in the NFC West as the division winning Seahawks, looking at potentially clinching the #1 seed in the NFC whilst the Niners are looking to upset that party a little.
The Seahawks got a big win over the Rams last week to clinch the division and keep themselves in the hunt for a bye. Russell Wilson is no where near his early season form but the offense is still a dangerous unit but more importantly for this team with the playoffs coming up is the recent play of the defense which has been pretty poor for most of season, but has definitely improved in recent weeks.
The Niners were rolling in their win against the Cardinals last week as CJ Beathard looked good as the third string QB staked his claim to be the second string QB next season. The return of George Kittle has helped this offense hugely, but more importantly has been the Niners ability to run the ball with success with Jeff Wilson looking more than impressive last time out.
I’m taking the Niners here, they’ve managed to pull out wins against better opposition sporadically all season and I wouldn’t be surprised to see another upset here. As for my best bet, I’m taking the Niners to cover the 7 point spread.
