The Titans laid an egg on opening day against the Cardinals as they were beaten badly by Kyler Murray and co. Seattle on the other hand dominated the Indianapolis Colts to get their season off to a winning start.
Tennessee will need to improve across the board if they’re going to bounce back from a poor performance. They have the talent on offense and can keep a Seattle defense that still has questions surrounding them. The same can be said for the Titans defense, who need to show they’re not going to be bullied by every single offense they face in 2021.
Seattle got off to their typical fast start in Week 1 as they were too good across the board for a Colts side that need to improve. Russell Wilson was his usual fantastic early season self, leading a balanced Seahakws offense, but that’s just what we expect from the reigning first-half-of-the-season MVP. The real story was the play of the Seahawks defense, which although not perfect, does look like a much improved unit. Jamal Adams had yet another impressive game as he made 6 combined T&A’s, which isn’t much of a surprise when you consider he had 5 or more T&A’s in 9 of 12 games last season. What is a surprise is his Tackles & Assists U/O number being 4.5. I expect him to post his regular 5+ once again here.
