The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off their bye week and head to Cleveland to take on the 4-3 Browns, who’ve had somewhat of a mini bye week themselves, seeing as they won on TNF in Week 7. Will the Steelers move above .500 for the first time since Week 1, or will Cleveland move to 5-3 and put some distance between themselves and Pittsburgh?

Pittsburgh turned the corner before their bye week with back to back wins over the Broncos and Seahawks. Najee Harris has had an up and down rookie campaign to this point, but playing behind an underwhelming O-Line will have that effect on a first-year back. His ability in the passing game was evident at Alabama and has transferred seamlessly to the pros. Harris has two receiving TDs to his name already and will be up against a Browns defense that’s given up four receiving TDs to Running Backs since Week 2.

The Browns picked up a win against the Broncos on TNF despite being without key starters Baker Mayfield and Nick Chubb. Both return for this important matchup, but it’s the latter we’re focusing on primarily here. Nick Chubb has more than 20 rushing attempts in each of his last three games, and in a close game, I expect Cleveland to stick to what they’re good at, which is running the ball early and often. The absence of Kareem Hunt should mean more snaps for Chubb and snaps = opportunity. The emergence of D’Ernest Johnson on TNF could throw a spanner in the works a little, but Chubb is a stud, and I expect him to be fed as such by Stefanski and the offense.

Spread: Steelers +4.5
