The Miami Dolphins, coming off of their first win since Week 1 welcome the 6-2 Ravens, who head into this game off the back of an OT win against the Vikings. Both sides are looking for back to back wins, but will it be Lamar Jackson leading his side to a TNF win, or Miami pulling off the upset at home?
Miami picked up a victory over the hapless Houston Texans last week to double their win total for the year. Jacoby Brissett played in the win, and he’ll likely be suiting up again under Center against the Ravens as Tua is listed as questionable. The way the Tua situation has been handled by Brian Flores and the whole Dolphins organization is a bit of a disgrace. It’s hard to root for a team who treats a 5th overall pick with such contempt.
Baltimore got back to winning ways last week with a 34-31 OT win over the Minnesota Vikings. This is the second straight game the Ravens defense has shipped over 30 points in a game, and that after keeping two of their four previous opponents to single digits. The offense did at least get back on track after only posting 17 points in the blow-out loss to the Bengals before their bye week. Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown is in the midst of a career year. The undersized receiver has posted at least 80 receiving yards in four of his last five games, and has only posted a sub 60 receiving yard game just twice in eight outings. The diminutive pass-catcher also has six TDs this season, and is yet to go back to back games without finding the endzone. A troubling stat for Miami when you consider his failure to find pay dirt in the OT win last week.
