The 5-4 Denver Broncos will no doubt be feeling themselves are a dominant win over a previously rampant Dallas Cowboys side. If this Denver team can get up on you early and force you to throw the football against their talented and well-coached secondary, then you’re playing right into their hands. The return from injury of 2020 first-round pick Jerry Jeudy has bolstered this Denver passing attack, and the second-year pass-catcher hauled in 6 of his 8 targets for 69 (nice!) yards. He’ll be buoyed by the fact that the Eagles allowed Justin Herbert to complete over 84% of his attempts last week, expect Jeudy to get his fair share of targets tonight.
Philadelphia played the Chargers tough, but as mentioned above, they just couldn’t stop Herbert from throwing the ball down the field play after play. It’s imperative they don’t allow Denver to jump on top of them early and force them to abandon the run game. Jalen Hurts can hurt (excuse the pun) Denver on the ground, and the second-year QB has been using his god-given ability to run the football recently with 60+ rushing yards in three straight games.
