Night three and here we go again and it’s back to the man I am dubbing as the 180 king and the stats are even their to back the title up!….
Devon Peterson in the month of September averaged 0.448 180s every leg that he played, the bloke is a machine at the moment and I hope it continues for the African warrior.
He is the highest hitting 180 hitter left on this side of the draw ( I wanted to say left at all but Chizzy is playing out of his skin at the moment) and on the other side of the oche is arguably the second best player to ever play the game who will be looking to avenge his 6-0 defeat to Peterson back in mid September.
In Peterson’s first match it took him a while to get going but he hit plenty of 140s and 3 180s and if he’s back to his normal self then over the slightly longer format I can’t see him not being the top 180 hitter for the evening and also with MVGs scoring power if he wants to turn up like he did in the first set on Tuesday evening then this will be the highest scoring match of the night comfortably.
Sky Bet:
MVG vs Peterson Most 180s 13/8- 2points
Peterson Most 180s on the night 11/4- 1 point
Chisnall To Win tournament 12/1 (0.5 points)
