Lincoln look to continue unbeaten start

Down in League One Michael Appleton seems to be going about his business very efficiently and his team have made a flying start to the season.

The Imps have started the league season with 4 wins from 4 whilst scoring 9 goals and only conceding 3 and have only lost one game in their first 9 in all competitions and that was against premier league giants Liverpool.

They haven’t had easy games along the way, dispatching Charlton, Blackpool, Oxford and MK Dons,  not bad for a team that finished the season last year in 16th and I fancy them to get the business done today against a Bristol Rovers team who haven’t seem to have found their feet yet.

I do expect a tight game down at Sincil bank as neither Lincoln nor Bristol Rovers accumulate tons of shots but I do think Lincoln have the ability to score goals as well as keep them out their own net and even though Bristol Rovers have a physical team, their loss of their biggest goal threat Jonson Clark-Harris last summer could just mean they are still lacking that firing power and Lincoln should have enough.

On paper this will be their easiest game of the season, even though we know on paper does not really seem to count for much at the moment.

Lincoln to win 5/6 (Bet 365) 1-point win
