The Chargers are back off their bye week and although without a win since week 1 there’s plenty to be excited about with the performances of rookie QB Justin Herbert who’s been absolutely slinging it all over the place since coming in for Tyrod Taylor in week 2 but the loss of Austin Ekeler is a big one for a team who like to run the ball and get their backs involved in the passing game. The Defense has been able to play tough but they really miss Derwin James.
The Jags are also without a win since week 1 but have a lot less to be excited about as they’ve got gradually worse every week since and look like a team who will end up with a top 3 draft pick. Gardner Minshew can’t be expected to do it all by himself and it’s starting to look like the powers that be in the Jags organisation don’t want them to win another game.
I like the Chargers to come off their bye week strong and Justin Herbert to get his first win as a pro and have himself a day against a suspect Jags pass D too.
