The Broncos pulled off a bit of a shock last week beating the Patriots in Foxboro on the back of a strong defensive performance one of which they’ll need again if they’re to slow down the Kansas City Chiefs enough to have a chance here. They’ll also need QB Drew Lock to be a lot better than he was last week where he only managed to complete 10 passes for under 190 yards and 2 INT’s another performance like that won’t be enough, you can’t beat the Chiefs with Field Goals.

The Chiefs punched the Bills in the mouth on Monday Night running all over them with Clyde Edwards-Helaire going for over 160 yards whilst Patrick Mahomes was extremely efficient in weather conditions that were not pass friendly but managed to complete over 80% of his passes for 225 yards and 2 TD’s. The Defense has shown out in the pass game proving to be one of the leagues best units against passers but before playing the Bills had struggled against the run game which is something the Broncos have been able to do pretty well so far this year.

The Chiefs were run close by the Chargers and beaten by the Raiders which could be a sign that their divisional rivals are learning how to play and be successful against them and whilst I expect the Broncos to keep it close I like the Chiefs to find a way to win. Nothing jumps out at me for a best bet here but Denver have given up a TD on the ground to QB’s on their last two games whilst Mahomes has run in for 2 scores already this season.

BEST BET: Patrick Mahomes anytime TD – 3/1 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.
