The 7-2 Green Bay Packers are on the road to Indy to take on the 6-3 Colts and with both sides coming off wins in week 10 they’ll be looking to further tighten their grip at the top of their respective divisions.
The Colts won a big TNF clash over the Titans last week to leapfrog them at the top of the AFC South and after trailing at half time really impressed in the second half keeping the Titans scoreless whilst themselves posting 21 second half points. This is a Colts defense that ranks as a top 5 unit but I am never fully convinced whenever I watch them and suspect that Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams will give them a sterner test than they’ve faced all season long.
Talking about Defense and this Packer one isn’t impressive, they allowed the Jags to stay in a game they had no right being in last week but should improve with the return of Jaire Alexander although their struggles against RB’s and TE’s should allow a simple Colts Offense to put up points as those positions are the preferred targets of Philip Rivers and Nyhiem Hines in particular has proven a favourite target of his with two of his last three games boasting 45+ yards receiving and 4 TD’s.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see this game turn into a mini shootout with the Colts taking advantage of a below average Packer defense whilst Rodgers puts the team on his back but I’m going to take the Colts to sneak the win at home.
