ARIZONA CARDINALS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

The Cardinals come off something of a mini bye after playing on TNF in week 11 and although they lost to the Seahawks the Patriots suffered the same fate to the Texans (who’re no Seattle) in a game where they couldn’t contain a scrambling QB… I’ve got news for you, New England..

The Cardinals are sitting at 6-4 and third in the division after losing on TNF to division rivals, Seattle Seahawks. With Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins the Cardinals offense is always dangerous and this below average Patriots defense shouldn’t cause them too many problems. The Defense hasn’t been great all season but they tend to make a few plays a game.

The Patriots finally got their passing game going for the first time since week 2 but it came at the sacrifice of their run game which struggled to get going against a Texans side who’ve been unable to stop the run all year. Amazingly last week was the first time Cam Newton has thrown a TD pass to a WR all year and although I expect he’ll be able to find at least some success through the air against the Cardinals the Patriots will need to utilise the run game as well as the pass if they’re going to keep up with a Cardinals offense who’ve posted 30+ points in 5 of their last 6 games.

Kyler Murray has failed to rush for a TD in only two of the Cardinals ten games this season and hasn’t gone back to back games without a score all season so we’ll take Murray to once again find himself in pay dirt on the way to a Cardinal win.

PREDICTION: CARDINALS 27 – 21 PATRIOTS
