Battle in the NFC North as the division leading Packers welcome the second placed but out of form Bears to Title Town.
The Packers lost in OT to the Colts last week in a game that really highlighted their defensive struggles as they allowed Philip Rivers to throw for just shy of 290 yards and 3 TD’s as well as having Jonathan Taylor run the ball on them for 90 yards and although this Colts offense is better than what the Bears have to offer its nowhere near one of the premiere offenses in football, the defense has to improve if the Packers are going to make noise in the post season.
The Bears needed their bye week after losing 4 in a row and the extra week to prepare for the Packers is important but with the offense moving back to Mitch Trubisky at QB after Foles suffered a hip injury causes questions, the offense has been poor all season and Trubisky was pulled half way through their week 3 game with Atlanta so are we supposed to believe this anaemic offense is going to improve with the man they deemed the backup under centre? The run game might improve with Trubisky but it couldn’t really get much worse. The one thing the Bears have been able to hang their hat on is their defense which have been a top 10 unit against the pass and brings pressure up front.
I’m going to take the Packers here, they’re the better team and even though the Bears have had extra time to prepare, I don’t believe they have the ex’s and the O’s or the Jimmy’s and the Joe’s to keep up with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
Davante Adams has been Aaron Rodgers best friend for a long time and has 5TD’s in 6 career home games against the Bears and I like him to add to that this year.
