The freefalling Bears will be looking to get back in the win column after losing six on the bounce as they welcome the 4-8 Texans to Chicago.

The Texans were in a fantastic position to beat the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday, having the ball deep in the redzone with under 90 seconds on the clock and down 6 points but Deshaun Watson fumbled the snap and the Colts recovered to all but end the game. It was a frustrating outing in general for Watson as he was kept scoreless through the air for the first time this season and the absence of his favourite pass catcher this season, Will Fuller was evident. The Texans have been a much better side since the departure of Bill O’Brien but the defense has been a huge issue all season and whilst the pass defense has improved (It couldn’t have gotten any worse) the run defense is the leagues worst and with David Montgomery coming off of two of his better games this season that will be a facet of the game to watch closely.

The Bears are in a real funk, without a win in their last 6 with their last ‘W’ coming all the way back in the middle of October! Chicago’s offense hasn’t been good for a long time but their previously top ranked defense has slipped down into middle of the pack territory as of late and gave up over 400 yards and 3 TD’s to Matt Stafford in their defeat to the Detroit Lions last week. The offense do at least run the ball better with Trubisky under Center and that’s going to be their best form of attack against this Texans side.

Another genuine 50/50 game this week and although I’m going to take the Texans, I would not be surprised if the Bears found enough success on the ground to get their first win in nearly two months.

As for my best bet we’re going with the Bears offense and their #1 receiver, Allen Robinson who has had 6 or more receptions in his last 5 games we’ll take him to go over 5.5 receptions against a bottom 10 pass defense.

BEST BET: Allen Robinson OVER 5.5 receptions โ€“ 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
