NFC North battle for the tightly contested second place spot and maybe, just maybe, a Wildcard Playoff spot.

The team who currently sit in second place in the division are the 6-6 Vikings. who had some serious kicker issues against the Bucs, as Dan Bailey failed to make a single Extra Point or Field Goal attempt in their 26-14 loss. Dalvin Cook is the spearhead of this Vikings offense and has back to back 100+ rushing yard games as well as 15 TD’s on the season but with two very good Wide Receivers and an athletic Tight End, this Vikings offense can score through the air as well as on the ground with Kirk Cousins quietly having an impressive season and in good form with 16 TD passes and only 2 INT’s in the Vikings last 7 games.

The Bears destroyed a poor Texans side last week and I think its now obvious for all to see that Mitch Trubisky at QB gives them the best chance to win every week. Trubisky has thrown 7 TD passes against only 2 INT’s since he won his place in the side back in week 12 but it’s his ability as a runner which gives him the advantage over Nick Foles and opens up the Bears ability to run the football. The Bears D had been struggling lately but seemed to find some form in keeping the Texans to only 7 points, but this is a Texans offense who cannot run the ball and missing their #1 pass catcher, I’ll be interested to see if the Bears D can perform similarly against an Offense who can both run and pass the ball.

I’m taking the Vikings here, I just trust them more and think they’re the better side. As for my best bet, I like Bears Linebacker, Roquan Smith to play well, he’s posted 9 or more T&A’s in 5 of his last 6 games, including a huge 14 in the first meeting between the sides and I expect him to have similar production again here if they’re going to stop Dalvin Cook so with his U/O total being 8.5 I like his chances of him hitting the over once again here.

BEST BET: Roquan Smith OVER 8.5 Tackles & Assists – 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
