Another game with potential playoff implications as two NFC East rivals square off with both needing a win to keep their post season hopes alive.
The Eagles look a different team on offense with Jalen Hurts at QB, the rookie signal caller has taken to the NFL like a duck to water and has this team looking like they could cause problems in the playoffs if they get there. The defense can get to the passer, especially against this Cowboys team but I do worry about how they’ll hold up in the secondary against a heavy pass attack.
The Cowboys have won two on the bounce as they look to make an unlikely push for the division, and they were impressive last week in putting over 40 points on a very good Niners defense. Andy Dalton has stabilised the offense and whilst he is certainly no Dak Prescott, he’s proven that the team can win with him. Zeke Elliot missed the impressive win over the Niners and Tony Pollard filled in for him brilliantly with over 130 all purpose yards and 2 TD’s. The defense is still horrible, unable to stop anyone on the ground and through the air, so they may need to score 40+ points to win this game!
I’m taking the Eagles, they look rejuvenated under Jalen Hurts and are probably the best team in the division, I just don’t see how this Cowboys defense can stop them putting points on the board.
We’re going with the Eagles rookie QB for our best bet here, against the leagues worst run defense we think he can go over the 61.5 rushing yards line the bookies have for him, he’s gone over that in his last two games and I like him to do it again here.
PREDICTION: EAGLES 30 โ 27 COWBOYS
BEST BET: Jalen Hurts OVER 61.5 Rushing Yards โ 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
