LOS ANGELES RAMS @ SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

HUGE game atop the NFC West as the 10-4 division leading Seahawks welcome the 9-5 second placed LA Rams who have something to prove after their embarrassing loss to the Jets last week.

Let’s start with that surprise loss the Rams suffered to the Jets last week, I can only imagine they were asleep at the wheel and just thought turning up would be enough (which it never is in the NFL) and were caught sleeping by a Jets side who didn’t fancy going 0-16. If we put that game down as an anomaly though we have a Rams side who boast one of the best overall defenses in all of football and an offense which had been running the ball well behind rookie Cam Akers, who unfortunately for the Rams will miss this matchup.

The Seahawks are finding some form and looking good after a mini slump and their much maligned defense has been quietly playing well of late, and that has allowed the Seahawks to not have to completely rely on Russell Wilson producing magic every game and that’s good news for a Seahawks team who may struggle to breakdown a Rams defense who got the better of them in their first meeting.

Looking forward to this game, both sides are pretty evenly matched and with the division up for grabs both sides wont want to give an inch, but I’m going to take the Seahawks to clinch the division with a win here at home, they’re playing well at the moment and even though I can’t right off the Rams D, I don’t trust this Rams offense, especially without Cam Akers.

As for my best bet, we’re heading to the Rams defense and Sebastian Joseph-Day who has 4 or more Tackles & Assists in four straight games and we like him to go over his 3.5 line again here.

PREDICTION: SEAHAWKS 24 โ€“ 23 RAMS ย ย ย

BEST BET: Sebastian Joseph-Day OVER 3.5 Tackles & Assists โ€“ 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
