The newly crowned AFC East champions travel to Foxborough to battle the side they took the the crown from. Will the newly minted division kings put an exclamation mark on their first division title in 25 years or will the fallen Patriots get their statement win of the season?

The Buffalo Bills are AFC East champions for the first time since 1995, and in Josh Allen have an MVP caliber QB for the first time since Jim Kelly, so it’s probably fair to say Bills fans are ecstatic with the way this 2020 season has turned out. Allen to Diggs has been the calling card of this Bills offense all season, the pair were recently voted to their first Pro Bowls on the back of their fantastic seasons. The Bills defense really struggled early on in the year but have been performing much better of late and it’ll be interesting to see how they handle a Patriots offense that ran all over them in the first meeting between these two sides.

The Patriots have dropped back to back games since beating the Chargers 45-0, and will be looking to avoid suffering three straight losses for the second time this season (their last loss in that three game skid was against the Bills) Cam Newton has struggled at QB this season, the veteran has only thrown 5 TD passes all season, and only 1 in his last 4 games whilst throwing 3 interceptions in that same period. The Patriots strength is in their pass defense, but they will be without star Cornerback, Stephon Gilmore, the former Bill would’ve found himself matched up with Stefon Diggs but instead I expect that pleasure will be JC Jackson’s.

The Bills are the better team, and even though they have already clinched the division there’s still the #2 seed in the AFC to play for, and for how many times the Patriots have put beatings on poor Bills teams when they already had the division tied up leads me to believe the Bills won’t show any mercy against a lesser side.

With the Patriots sitting at 6-8, a Bills win would guarantee the Patriots finish under .500 for the first time since the year 2000, and I’m sure the Bills will be eager to add that cherry on top of the cake that is their AFC East championship, and condemn their long time tormentors to their first losing season in 20 years.

As for my best bet I’m going with the aforementioned Stefon Diggs, the Bills #1 pass catcher has 90 or more receiving yards in 6 of his last 7 games (three of those over 100 yards) and has gone for 90 or more in 9 of his 14 games this season, including in the Bills first meeting with the Patriots, and without last years DPOY Glimore covering him, I like him to go over his U/O 88.5 receiving yards total in this matchup.

BEST BET: Stefon Diggs OVER 88.5 Receiving Yards โ€“ 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
