ATLANTA FALCONS @ TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

The Bucs kicked off their defence of the Lombardi Trophy with a barnburner of a game against the Cowboys on TNF. Atlanta meanwhile were beaten and exposed by the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday and if they perform like that with any regularity this season, it’ll be a long one for the Dirty Birds.

Atlanta’s biggest off-season need was in the secondary. They haven’t got anyone outside of AJ Terrell who can cover anyone playing WR in the NFL with any consistency. After giving up good performances in Week 1 to DeVonta Smith and Jalen Reagor they now have to face arguably the best WR trio in the NFL as constant Falcons tormentor Antonio Brown is joined by Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.

Atlanta’s best hope may be to pray that Tom Brady has an off day, but that seems like wishful thinking as the former Patriot threw for at least 390 yards in both of his matchups with Atlanta last season. As mentioned above, Brady has an exceptional trio of WRs to throw the ball too, but as if that’s not enough he also has a seemingly resurgent Rob Gronkowski, who if his performance against the Cowboys is anything to go by, may well be back to his brilliant best.

Spread: Tampa Bay -12.5

Total Match Points line: U/O 52.0

Game Prediction: Tampa 40-27 Falcons

Best Bet: Tom Brady over 312.5 passing yards @ 5/6 with SkyBet. [1.0]
