Brandon Staley got off to a winning start as an NFL Head Coach and will be anxious to get to 2-0, knowing that his team will have to keep pace with the Kansas City Chiefs if they want to be contenders for their division. Justin Herbert got off to a good start in his sophomore season. He showed good rapport with not only Keenan Allen but also big-bodied pass-catcher Mike Williams. If Herbert can find these two regularly in this matchup, then the Cowboys secondary will be in a world of trouble.
The Cowboys offense kept up with Brady and the high-powered Bucs in the opening game of the 2021 season and, that was in no small part down to his ability to get the ball into the hands of Amari Cooper. The veteran wideout hauled in 13 passes for 139 yards and 2 scores in Week 1. Cooper played against a Brandon Staley defense in Week 1 of last season when the Cowboys took on the Rams. Cooper hauled in double-digit receptions in that game, so he has shown an ability to get open against a Staley coached defense. With his U/O receiving yards total at 5.5, I again like Amari Cooper to go over that number.
