INDIANAPOLIS COLTS @ TENNESSEE TITANS

AFC South battle as the 0-2 Colts head to Nashville to battle the 1-1 Titans. Will the Colts finally get their season up and running or, will the Titans win an important one in their quest for the division title?

Indy are potentially going to be without starting QB Carson Wentz after he suffered injuries to both ankles in last week’s loss to the Rams. Even if the signal-caller is available it’ll be interesting to see just how close to 100% he is and how that affects his movement in and out of the pocket. The Colts are lacking a real standout receiver in the passing game with Zach Pascal currently leading the team in receiving TD’s, don’t be surprised if they’re a player for Brandon Cooks closer to the trade deadline. On defense they’ve been just okay upfront in their two losses with DeForest Buckner in particular impressing. The big man has 6 combined tackles & assists in both games this season. Buckner also had 4 or more combined tackles & assists in 10 of 15 games last season, including against Tennessee, so his U/O 3.5 Tackles & Assists line is definitely playable here.

Tennessee fought back to win a game they really should’ve lost last week as they found themselves down 24-9 at the half in Seattle only to force OT and kick a game-winning FG. Derrick Henry was back to his brilliant best (of course he was, we didn’t tip him) as he ran all over the Seahawks to the tune of 182 yards and 3TD’s. He’s also impressively gone over 15 yards receiving in back to back weeks, having a huge (for him) 55 yards receiving against Seattle. His U/O 12.5 receiving yard line is a nice number but we dare not make it our best bet as he’ll end up with zero targets let alone receptions! Instead, we like Julio Jones to have himself another big day, the veteran pass-catcher had 128 yards on 6 receptions in Week 2 and has historically GONE OFF against the Colts! Julio has three previous career games against Indy and in each one he has 125+ yards, including a huge 9 reception 160-yard outing. His U/O 63.5 receiving yards line is something I’m eyeing especially considering his previous returns against this opposition.

Spread: Titans -5.5

Total Match Points line: U/O 47.5

Game Prediction: Titans 26-17 Colts

Best Bet: Julio Jones over 63.5 receiving yards & DeForest Buckner over 3.5 tackles & assists @ 2/1 with Bet365 Bet Builder. [0.5]
