Week 6 in the NFL kicks off in Philly as the Eagles host Tom Brady and the Bucs on TNF.
Philadelphia got a surprise win over the Carolina Panthers last week after suffering three losses on the bounce. The offense has seemingly remembered that they have DeVonta Smith to throw the ball too and have looked all the better for it. The rookie has had back to back games with 7 receptions and he’ll need to be equally busy here against Tampa and with their struggles in the secondary recently it’s the perfect opportunity for Smith to shine.
Tampa destroyed the Miami Dolphins in Week 5 as Tom Brady passed all over them to the tune of 411 yards and 5TDs! Brady seems hell-bent on putting up ridiculous numbers through the air this year in an attempt to win another MVP trophy. Mike Evans has been more involved in the offense since the Gronk injury, he’s the most natural replacement for those red-zone targets that are usually given to the ageless TE. His U/O 5.5 Receptions is one he’s gone over in each of his last three games and he has averaged 10 targets per game through the last three weeks. If we get that same target share here we’ll be in a good spot.
