The 5-1 Packers host the 2-4 Washington Football Team in an all NFC battle between two 2020 division winners. Will Aaron Rodgers lead his Packers to a sixth consecutive win or will Chase Young and the WFT defense find some form and help pull off an upset win?
Green Bay has won 5 games in a row since their opening day upset loss to the Saints in Jacksonville. Aaron Rodgers ran in for a TD against the Bears last week and then proceeded to tell the Chicago faithful how he “owns them”. The Packers are a good team on both sides of the ball and won’t lose many this season, especially with Davante Adams in the kind of form that sees him routinely mentioned amongst the elite at the WR position.
The Washington Football Team have gone from a division winner last year to a 2-4 bottom feeder in the NFC. The loss of Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t helped, but the biggest issue has been the regression of a defense that was one of the leagues best in 2020. Ricky Seals-Jones has filled the void left by the injured Logan Thomas well with 9 receptions for 99 yards and a TD combined in WFT’s last two games.
Green Bay are the better team here, and I have a hard time picturing them dropping a home game to an unimpressive WFT side.
