INDIANAPOLIS COLTS @ SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

SNF from the Bay as the Niners, fresh off their bye-week, welcome the Indianapolis Colts to Santa Clara. Which one of these sides will pick up their third win on the year, and which one will be left worrying about being out of playoff contention already?

San Francisco entered their bye week off the back of three straight losses and need to get back amongst the win’s if they’re going to stay alive in a very competitive NFC West. Jimmy G will be back to start at QB for the Niners, but with extreme weather expected, I’m not sure quite how much he’ll get to throw the ball, but when he does look for FB, Kyle Juszczyk to get in on the action out of the backfield. Juszczyk has caught two or more passes in four straight games, and in a game where conditions aren’t suited to throwing the ball deep, he could be Jimmy G’s go-to option. On defense and the Niners have one of the best Linebackers in all of Football in Fred Warner and he’s been busy this season with 9 or more combined tackles & assists in four of five games.

Indy destroyed the sorry Texans last week as they finally got their second win of the year. Jonathan Taylor has been in great form recently, looking like the franchise back he’s supposed to be with three 100+ yard games in a row and 5 TDs in that same span. With the weather conditions being as they are I expect JT to carry the rock often and has every chance of finding himself in the endzone once again.
