The winless Lions head into this game knowing that it’s probably their best chance to pick up a win when you consider the remainder of their schedule. They’ve played tough in the majority of their games to date, but things just haven’t fallen their way. De’Andre Swift has had a quietly good year, and his ability in the passing game is not to be underestimated. He racked up over 140 total yards and a TD in last week’s loss to the Rams and has a score in each of his last three games, and he’ll be looking to make it four in a row against an Eagles defense that has already given up 8 TDs to the RB position this season.

Philadelphia is a struggling football team. Their offense is disjointed and struggling to get their best player involved, whilst the defense has been shipping points since the 41-21 Week 3 loss to Dallas. DeVonta Smith has been struggling for consistency this season, and that is, almost in its entirety, the fault of Jalen Hurts. The second-year passer has struggled to connect with his fellow Alabama alumnus, but Smith’s O/U 4.5 Receptions line is a hard one to ignore here against a Lions secondary that’s graded dead last in Defensive Coverage vs Receivers according to PFF. On defense for the Eagles is an FBA favourite in Alex Singleton. The Linebacker is a tackling machine and has hit nine or more combined Tackles & Assists in each of his last six games. We’ll be taking the over on his U/O 8.5 line once again in this matchup.
