CINCINNATI BENGALS @ NEW YORK JETS

The AFC leading Bengals head to New Jersey to face the one-win Jets. Will Cincinnati improve to 6-2 on the year, or will the Jets pull off a shock win for what would be one of the big upsets in Week 8?

The Jets had next to no chance of winning this game with Zach Wilson, but now the rookie passer has been ruled out, I am going to tell you that Mike White (and probably 4th quarter Joe Flacco) have zero chance of winning this game for the Jets. The offense hasn’t been good, and without the threat of Wilson unleashing a deep bomb, I can’t see what’s on offer to scare a very good Bengals defense.

Cincinnati are a balanced football team, they play really good defense, and the offense boasts some of the best young weapons in the NFL. Joe Burrow has been slinging it all over the yard recently with four straight games over 270 passing yards and now faces a Jets defense allowing 275 passing yards per game on average so far. The star of the Bengals show has been rookie pass-catcher Ja’Marr Chase, the former LSU man is already breaking NFL records, and is coming off a 201 receiving yard game against a vaunted Baltimore defense! Chase has had at least 97 yards receiving in each of his last three games, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he posts his fourth 100+ yard game of this season today.

Spread: Bengals -11.0

Total: 43.0

Game Prediction: Bengals 35-10 Jets

Best Bet: Joe Burrow over 263.5 Passing Yards and Ja’Marr Chase over 78.5 Receiving Yards @ 7/4 with Bet365 Bet Builder. [1]
