DETROIT LIONS @ PITTSBURGH STEELERS

The winless Lions come off their bye and travel to Pittsburgh to face the 5-3 Steelers, who, after falling to 1-3, have found themselves and reeled off four wins in a row. Can Jared Goff and the Lions halt this Pittsburgh winning streak and pick up their first win of the Dan Campbell era, or will the Steelers improve to 6-3 and keep their winning run going?

There’s not really much to say about Detroit that we haven’t already covered. They have bad QB play and don’t have much outside of D’Andre Swift and T.J. Hockenson. On defense they’re often overmatched and don’t fill you with confidence that they have the ability to stop anyone for an extended period of time.

Pittsburgh has put together a nice little run with wins over Cleveland, Denver and Seattle in recent weeks. This game with Detroit will pose other challenges though, with the Bills & Ravens recently dropping games in which they were heavy favourites it should be at the forefront of the Pittsburgh players minds to not let complacency creep in. If they play their best football they should win this game with plenty to spare. A big part of the offense has been rookie RB Najee Harris. The former Alabama stand out has scored in five straight games and now faces a Lions defense that has already given up 16(!) TDs to the Running Back Position this season.

Spread: Steelers -6.5

Total: 41.0

Game Prediction: Steelers 27-17 Lions

Best Bet: Steelers to win outright & Najee Harris to score a TD @ 6/4 with Betfair. [1]
