JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS @ INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

All AFC South clash as the .500 chasing Colts host the 2-6 Jaguars. Will Indy get to 5-5 on the season and keep their playoff hopes alive, or will the Jags pull off back to back upset wins after stunning the Buffalo Bills last week?

The Jaguars won a 9-3 FG fest over the heavily fancied Buffalo Bills in Week 9 as their defense deployed and executed a near-perfect game plan to stop Josh Allen and his pass-happy offense. That same game plan won’t work here. If the Jags try to run Cover 2 and dare Indy to run on them, then a certain Jonathan Taylor will oblige them. This defense will have to take a more balanced approach and send more than 4 if they want to pressure Wentz. On offense the Jags weren’t able to get much success against the Buffalo defense, and consistently moving the ball and putting up points has been a challenge for rookie passer Trevor Lawrence all season. Jacksonville ranks 31st in points scored per game and inside the bottom 10 for passing yards per game.

Indianapolis are possibly the best team in the NFL not to have a winning record at the moment. They have a balanced offense that can score points, a defense that whilst not great, does have playmakers and is above average at stopping the run. Jonathan Taylor’s recent form has been tremendous, and he’ll be firmly in the OPOY talk if he can maintain it the rest of the way. Taylor has six straight games with at least 110 total yards and scored 9 TDs in that same six-game stretch.
