TENNESSEE TITANS @ NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

The AFC leading but heavily depleted Titans travel to Foxboro to take on the NFL’s inform team. New England are riding a five-game win streak and are 7 point favourites to keep that winning streak alive. Can Ryan Tannehill lead his under-manned Titans offense to a win over the #1 defense in football, or will Mac Jones keep up his OROY form in yet another Patriots win?

Tennessee will be without their fearsome trio of offensive weapons as Derrick Henry, Julio Jones & A.J. Brown are all currently on IR. This doesn’t leave Ryan Tannehill with many recognised weapons, and against the #1 defense in football, it’s going to be tough for the Titans to put up points.

New England deploys a balanced offense that allows rookie passer Mac Jones to not have to put the team on his back every week. Damien Harris & Rhamondre Stevenson make up one of the better but most underrated RB tandems in all of football, and they’ll lead the Patriots attack here against a Titans team that rank 24th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game. At least they will lead the attack if they’re healthy. Both players are listed as “Questionable” on the final injury report, but it’s unlikely they’ll both miss out. Our best bet is, of course, dependent on their availability, but if Harris plays, I like his chances of finding the endzone, and with seven TDs in as many games, it’s easy to see why. If Harris can’t go, then we’ll replace him with Stevenson, and in the unlikely event that neither of them are ready to go for Sunday, then we’d recommend maybe just enjoying the game without a wager or just taking some action on the under.

Spread: Patriots -7.0

Total: 43.5

Game Prediction: Patriots 21-13 Titans

Best Bet: Damien Harris TD & under 50.5 points @ 12/5 with Bet365 Bet Builder. [0.5]

*If Damien Harris is listed as “OUT” and Rhamondre Stevenson is listed as “ACTIVE”, then replace Harris for Stevenson, which takes the odds to 15/4 with Bet365 Bet Builder.
