BUFFALO BILLS @ KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

The final game of the Divisional Round is arguably the best game of the Divisional Round as the Buffalo Bills travel to Missouri to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in a rematch of last seasons AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs obviously came out on top in that matchup, and that forced the Bills to upgrade their Defensive Line in the hope of being able to get pressure on Patrick Mahomes without having to blitz. This tactic worked in their Week 5 meeting as the Bills won by 18 points, forced four turnovers and didn’t blitz Mahomes once. Can Buffalo’s #1 ranked Defense slow down the Chiefs once again, or will it be the much improved Chiefs Defense that tightens up against an in-form Bills Offense to send Kansas to their fourth straight AFC Championship Game?

Josh Allen played an almost perfect game last week as the Bills destroyed the New England Patriots in the Wildcard Round victory. Last year’s MVP runner up threw for 5 TD passes in the blowout victory, and that marked the fourteenth time this season that the former Wyoming Cowboy has thrown for two or more TDs in a game. Second-year receiver Gabriel Davis has come on leaps and bounds down the stretch this season, and I expect him to be a utilised part of the offense once again tonight. The former UCF man has 39 or more receiving yards in five straight games and in seven of his last nine outings and should have a great chance to do so once again here.

The Chiefs beat the Bills 38-24 in the AFCCG last year, and obviously this Kansas City side are well versed in how to win big playoff games, so do I think the Chiefs end Buffalo’s season for the second straight year..?

Nope. The Bills are on a roll and have been since the second half of their regular-season game loss to the Bucs in Tampa since then, they have destroyed the Patriots twice and are unbeaten, with the Defense playing fantastically even without their stud Corner, Tre White. I’m taking Josh Allen and my Bills to exact final revenge on Mahomes and the Chiefs in poetic fashion with a 38-24 win, which would mean the Bills host the Bengals in this year’s AFCCG. Let’s GO BUFFALO!
