Two teams who played on Monday night to varying degrees of success face off here in Steeler country and I’m expecting a physical game of football!

The Steelers got the best of the Giants on MNF and they look like an offense who can once again put points on the board now Big Ben is healthy and no man was happier about the return of Big Ben than Ju-Ju Smith Schuster, the receiver scoring two TD’s in week 1 after a season in which he struggled last year was a sight to behold for both Steeler fans and JuJu truthers, Benny Snell also looked good in filling in for James Connor when he went down and after the Broncos were gashed for over 100 yards on the ground by Derrick Henry, one of Connor or Snell could have themselves a day here. The Steeler D wasn’t as stifling in week 1 as It was for the majority of last season but with the improvements on offense they wont have to be and they still managed to take the ball away twice and keep the Giants under 20 points.

Denver were not so prosperous going down at home to the Titans in a game the Titans kicker was seemingly trying to lose for his side before eventually kicking the winning points (Kickers, man… they’ve got one job!) the defense kept the Titans to under 20 points but struggled to make game winning plays, not registering an interception and only sacking Tannehill once whilst giving up nearly 250 yards through the air and allowing a 100+ yard receiver and rusher. On offense there wasn’t much to shout about with TE Noah Fant being the pick of the bunch catching 5 of 6 targets for 81 yards and score. Overall not a particularly promising start but maybe one that should’ve been expected considering their best player on defense, Von Miller is out for the year and their best player on offense, Courtland Sutton missed the game and is questionable for this one too although he has practised this week so they’re positive signs for Broncos fans and bettors.

I can’t see past the Steelers here at home, simply I believe their offense will be able to put up enough points that the Broncos just won’t be able to keep up.

I wanted to back Chase Claypool for a score here after backing him and missing last week and the Broncos struggles with big pass catchers last week giving up two TD’s to Tight Ends, the Steelers don’t really use their TE’s much but Claypool is built as such that they could use him as the big bodied end zone target in this one and I do like that as a flyer but my best bet is for JuJu to pick up where he left off on Monday night and find himself in pay dirt once again.

BEST BET: JuJu Smith-Schuster Anytime TD @ 6/4 with Betfair. 1 point bet.

NEXT BEST: Chase Claypool Anytime TD @ 5/1 with Betfair. 0.5 point bet.
