The Washington Football Team were brought back down to earth with a bang after beating the Eagles in week 1 they were outclassed by Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals last week whilst the Browns bounced back from their week 1 trouncing at the hands of the Ravens to win the ‘Battle of Ohio’ and beat the Bengals.

Let’s start with the home side Browns who looked good on offense against the Bengals, letting their run game take centre stage and with the 1-2 punch of Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt who were both extremely productive in week 2 it makes sense, as well as getting those two as involved as possible it also opens up the Play Action passing game in which Baker Mayfield looks a much QB than he does when forced to be a pocket passer and with a dangerous Washington defensive line who can get after the passer I think it’ll be important to establish the run and keep that front 4 honest. On defense they managed to get the pass rush home a few times against the Bengals but they were given plenty of opportunity as Joe Burrow threw the ball over 60 times! That unit Is still headed by Myles Garrett but the addition of Sheldon Richardson has really helped them keep opponents run games in check and he was fantastic against the Bengals. The pass defense gave up 3 TD’s and over 300 passing yards but that doesn’t tell the whole story as they put up a fairly good performance against the pass happy Bengals.

Washington got the Kyler Murray treatment on Sunday as the pocket rocket passer threw for nearly 300 yards and a TD but was deadly on the ground rushing for over 65 yards and 2 TD’s but the defensive line still got theirs posting 3 Sacks, impressive rookie Chase Young getting another one taking his total to 2.5 through the first two weeks of the season. In the secondary Landon Collins had a strong game posting a Sack and an Interception so Baker Mayfield will have to be weary of where the Safety is on the field on every play.

The Washington D-Line is legit and can ruin any offensive game plan but the Browns impressed me in Week 2 and with the extra time to get healthy and prepare added to the fact they’re at home and I like their chances here. Washington have conceded a TD to their opponents #1 receiving target in both games this season so I like OBJ’s chances of finding the end zone in this game and he has 5 TD’s in 6 previous games vs Washington.
