This has to be a get right game for the Bills if they’re going to maintain their post season push. After two poor showings on both sides of the ball and Josh Allen regressing back to his 2018/2019 self the Bills will need to win and win impressively here if they’re going to convince anyone they’re a legit contender. The Defense was gashed on the ground on Monday night against the Chiefs but a closer look will tell you that they sold out to stop Mahomes beating them deep and the Chiefs took advantage of what was in front of them, the Jets don’t possess anywhere near the firepower Mahomes and the Chiefs have so don’t expect to see Frank Gore emulate Clyde Edwards-Helaire’s performance. Josh Allen really has Bills fans worried at the moment that his first four games of the season were some kind of short lived hot streak but I expect him to pick up how he started the year here in this matchup as the Jets D hasn’t been great against the run or the pass.

The Jets are still winless and are coming into this game after posting a donut against Miami last week, good news for them is that Sam Darnold should be back for this game so if nothing else should be able to put up some points especially against a Bills defense unrecognisable from last year but who will be looking at this game as a potential get back on track game so I expect the Bills to play the Jets tough on defense and try to play themselves into some form.

I’m not taking the Jets to beat anybody so I’m certainly not taking them to beat my Bills and although a lot of people have been throwing the “pretender” tag at Buffalo they should finish week 7 with a 5-2 record and their only losses coming against the unbeaten Titans and World Champion Chiefs.

Because the Jets are oh so bad a lot of the lines for the Bills offense are exaggerated but Stefon Diggs has only had 1 game with less than 6 receptions this season and caught 8 of 9 targets in the week 1 matchup with the Jets so with John Brown and Dawson Knox officially OUT for this game Diggs should get his fair share of targets and the U/O 5.5 line seems generously low from the bookies.

BEST BET: Stefon Diggs over 5.5 receptions – 8/11 with SkyBet. 2 point bet.
