Game of the week right here, Ladies & Gentlemen. The battle of the last two remaining unbeaten AFC sides comes with a game three weeks in the making after the original week 4 fixture was pushed here to week 7 due to the COVID-19 outbreak at the Titans facility. Who’s going to prove themselves the Big Dog in the AFC? Let’s take a look at the matchups.

Lets start with the home side Titans who were taken to OT by division rival Texans last week in a game that was eventually taken over by King Henry who had over 2 bills on the ground and put the team on his back to win the game in OT and now has three games in a row with 2 TD’s. Ryan Tannehill is also proving last year wasn’t a fluke, last week he posted over 365 yards and 4 TD’s and on the year has 13 TD’s against only 2 INT’s but will have his work cut out for him here as this Steelers Defense is keeping passers to under 60% pass completion, a number that Tannehill has been above in every game this season and some of the credit for that has to go to Tannehill’s Offensive Line who have kept him clean this season only allowing 6 Sacks on the season which ranks 1st in the NFL and do you know what else ranks 1st in the NFL? The Pittsburgh Steelers ability to make QB’s lives a nightmare, Pittsburgh rank first in both QB Sacks (24) and QB Pressures (81) so another strength v strength matchup but this one is affected by the loss of Taylor Lewan the Titans LT who after tearing his ACL last week will miss the rest of the season which gives the advantage in the battle up front to the Steelers but the Titans will use their play action game to try and slow down the Steeler rush and with Steelers Linebacker Devin Bush also suffering a torn ACL last week I expect Tannehill to be rolling out off the play action and finding AJ Brown and Jonnu Smith over the now Devin Bush vacated middle of the field. This Titans offense vs Steeler defense is such an interesting matchup everywhere, can the Steelers stop Derrick Henry? Can the Titans line slow down the Pittsburgh pass rush? Can the Steeler secondary throw an efficient Titans pass game off their rhythm? I cant wait to find out.

The other side of the ball is maybe not quite as interesting but still has its matchups. First being can the Titans Pass D get back on track after being rained on by Deshaun Watson and the Texans to the tune of 335 yards and 4 TD’s which isn’t the best way to prepare for a Steeler offense crammed with receiving talent and a passer in Big Ben who has thrown 11 TD’s to only 1 INT this season so takeaway opportunities might be hard to come by but what I’m really interested to see is if this Titan front 7 can stop James Conner who is on something of a hot streak right now having scored in each of his last 4 games and in three of those games has had over 100 yards rushing and whilst the run defense has been better since their bye week holding the Bills and Texans each under 100 yards they have given up at least 1 TD to a Running Back in every game they’ve played this season so far.

As I’ve said this is a hell of a matchup and its not often we get two 5-0 teams squaring off and even rarer when they’re the last remaining unbeaten teams in their conference and I’m expecting it to be as close of a matchup as you’d expect and whilst the Titans have home advantage (3rd week in a row they play in Nashville) I expect this Steelers team to come here pissed off at the fact their week 4 game postponement messed up their schedule at no fault of their own and of the two big injuries these sides suffered last week I believe the loss of Taylor Lewan leaves Tannehill’s blindside undermanned and against this Pittsburgh pass rush I think that’s a huge loss.
