The Ravens will be stewing after losing a game to the Steelers that they really should’ve won, they kept Big Ben to under 175 passing yards but the Pick 6 Lamar Jackson threw on their first drive prove costly as they lost by 4 to the still undefeated Steelers. The Offense has struggled in the passing game this season but are absolutely dominant on the ground, leading the league in run game efficiency but will meet stern opponents again this week as the Colts rank 2nd in the NFL at stopping the run.
The Colts defense has been the shining light of their team and rank top 3 across the board and although they will be tested on the ground here their bigger concern has been their recent pass defense which has given up over 300 passing yards in their last two outings and will be hoping to get back on form against an underwhelming pass attack. The Offense and Philip Rivers in particular had been struggling up until recently where he’s had back to back 3 passing TD games (he hadn’t thrown more than 1 in a game in their first 5 games) so I’ll be extremely intrigued to see which Philip Rivers we get against a top 5 defensive unit with two legitimate shut down corners.
Two 5-2 teams with top 5 defenses and offenses that are at least a little underwhelming… we’ll take the Under here.
