Well the Jags are in trouble..

Jacksonville again lost to the Texans taking their record for the season too 1-7 and well within “Tank for Trevor” territory. Backup QB Jake Luton took the reigns in Gardner Minshew’s absence in that game and will again here, he looked okay against the Texans, throwing for over 300 yards and a TD but did throw an Interception too. The Jags just don’t do anything particularly well on offense and although they’ve leaned a little heavier on James Robinson and the run game the last couple of weeks it’s been to no avail for the team on the whole although it has seen a production boost from the rookie.

Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams has got to be the #1 QB / WR tandem in the game right now, they’ve connected 8 times for TD’s already this season and Adams has gone over 150 yards three times already this year and there’s no one on this Jags defense that can match him 1-on-1 but he does have a knack of having a quiet game after a big outing and is yet to have back to back 100+ yard games this season.

This game shouldn’t be close, the Packers are the much better side and playing at home against a one win team running out their backup QB. Packers by 10.

As for best bets we’ve got two, we’re going to keep riding Davante Adams good scoring form, as well as having 8 for the season he’s also scored in his last 3 games. We also like James Robinson to have over 15.5 rushing attempts, he’s gone over 20 in his last two games and had a season high 25 last week and has gone over 16 in 5 of his 8 games this season and with a rookie QB under centre and seeing how Dalvin Cook gashed the Packers in the run game it makes sense for the Jags to lean on Robinson once again.

BEST BET: James Robinson over 15.5 Rushing Attempts – 8/11 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.

NEXT BEST: Davante Adams anytime TD – 4/7 with BET365. 1 point bet.
