TENNESSEE TITANS @ INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Huge game in the AFC South as two 7-3 sides battle it out for lone control at the top of the division in what is the game of the early slate. Both sides won in OT last week against strong opposition and will want to build on that momentum.

The Colts beat the Titans in Jack Daniels country on a Thursday night in their first meeting and a sweep of their closest divisional rivals will be big for their chances of winning the division but the Colts will have to do it without arguably their best defensive player as DeForest Buckner is OUT after testing positive for COVID-19 as is rookie Running Back, Jonathan Taylor who led the team in rushing last week and Ryan Kelly the Offensive Lineman is also ruled out as well as multiple starters listed as QUESTIONABLE including QB Philip Rivers who is dealing with a toe injury and will be a big loss if he’s unable to play as he’s been pretty good in 4 of his last 5 games including a 300+ yard performance against the Titans.

The Titans once again ran Derrick Henry to victory and it’s the second time this season the NFL’s leading rusher has won his side the game in OT. Henry now has back to back 100+ yard rushing games including against the Colts and now he’ll be running against a Defensive Line void of its best player. The Titans will be relying on Henry eating against a weakened run stopping unit and then hitting them deep in the passing game once the Colts defense have sold out to stop Henry something that they weren’t able to do against a fully fit Colts defense just a few weeks ago but could have more success with the absence of Buckner and Okereke.

I see this as an evenly matched battle when both sides are healthy but the Colts aren’t so to still be getting the Titans as underdogs is value we’re not going to miss out on and if Rivers is ruled out closer to game time the Titans will move to heavy favourites.
