Divisional game in the AFC South as the Colts head to Houston to take on the Texans who have won back to back games for the first time this season.

Indy were ran over by the freight train that is Derrick Henry last week as they lost to the Titans and gave up sole control of the division, the defense was put to the sword giving up 45 points in a game that was over at HT. The only positive I could take from that game from a Colts perspective would be the performance of TY Hilton, the Colts long time number one receiver got into the endzone for the first time this season and had over 80 yards receiving, again, for the first time this year, if Hilton can find some form towards the back end of this season he’ll really help Philip Rivers who’s been inconsistent throughout the season.

Houston won in Detroit on Thanksgiving as Deshaun Watson put on a show throwing for nearly 320 yards and 4 TD’s as he have the Lions secondary a torrid time. Unfortunately for Watson and the Texans, the primary beneficiary of Watson’s big day, Will Fuller who caught 6 passes for over 170 yards and 2 TD’s has been suspended until the end of the season for failing a drugs test which means the Texans will be without their number one pass catcher for the rest of the season. Instead they’ll rely on Brandin Cooks to fill that void which makes his U/O receptions line of 4.5 an interesting one as Cooks has 5 receptions on Thanksgiving against the Lions and has had 6 games this season with 5 or more receptions whilst sharing the field with Fuller so without him there I’d expect him to become the target hog in the offense that Fuller was.

The Colts will be happy to welcome back stud Defensive Lineman, DeForest Buckner after he missed their game with the Titans last week but they will be without starting Offensive Tackle Anthony Castonzo whilst the Texans should only be without the aforementioned Will Fuller.

I’m going to take the Texans in an upset here. I think Watson is in great form and against a Colts defense which ranks highly but can definitely be scored on. As for my best bet we’re going with that Brandin Cooks OVER 4.5 receptions as I think his target share goes up with Watson’s #1 option unavailable.

BEST BET: Brandin Cooks OVER 4.5 receptions – 8/13 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.
