Huge game in the NFC West as second plays third and with both sides coming off of unexpected losses it’s somewhat of a must win for both.

The Cardinals suffered their second loss in two games and are now winless since their miracle win over the Buffalo Bills in week 10 but they were unlucky not to leave Foxboro with the win with some costly drops and more than a couple unlucky offensive plays but worryingly it seems that without Kyler Murray producing magic a few times every week the rest of the team can’t get them over the hump and the Patriots did a fantastic job in containing the dual threat QB as Murray was kept scoreless both through the air and on the ground and only mustered 200 total yards in the game. The Cardinals will have to find a way to win close games when Murray’s magic hat runs out of rabbits. The defense has quietly moved into the top 10 in Sacks which is especially impressive when you consider they’re missing their best pass rusher and a lot of the credit has to go to the creativity of DC Vance Joseph who always seems to have new ways to get his guys home.

The LA Rams were beaten by the Forty Niners on Sunday making this back to back years they’ve been swept by their divisional foes and whilst Kyle Shanahan is an exceptional game planner off a bye week the Niners were missing many key pieces on both sides of the ball yet still managed to beat a Rams side who have arguably the best defense in football right now with a backup QB but the loss can’t be put on that side of the ball and blame instead has to be laid at the feet of the offense and especially Jared Goff, the QB failed to throw a TD in the game and was intercepted twice as well as losing a fumble as he was responsible for three turnovers and in a game decided by 3 points and a last second FG that is the difference.

I expect this to be a close game but interestingly the Rams are unbeaten against the Cardinals in Arizona since 2015 winning 5 straight in the desert and I think they’ll have just a little too much talent on defense for the Cards handing them their third loss in a row. As for my best bet we’re going to go with Josh Reynolds to go over his 3.5 receptions U/O line, Reynolds has gone over that in 4 of his last 5 games and with Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp preoccupying the defense he should find some favourable matchups which should interest Goff.

BEST BET: Josh Reynolds OVER 3.5 Receptions โ€“ 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
