Two NFC divisional leaders meet up in the Pacific Northwest as the 8-3 NFC West leading Seahawks welcome the 4-7 NFC East leading Giants.
Seattle comfortably despatched the Eagles on MNF in a game that started out life as a defensive battle before DK Metcalf took over with 10 receptions for 177 yards to vault himself to the top of the NFL receiving yards table and has made himself the primary pass catcher in this top 5 Seattle passing offense. The Hawks defense is still a tale of two halves as their run defense is still shutting out opposing runners whilst their pass defense is still giving up yards through the air although a reprieve may be coming..
The Giants are atop easily the most inept division in football after beating the Joe Burrow-less Bengals last week but now they may have their own QB woes as Daniel Jones went down injured in that game and is likely to miss this contest with veteran Colt McCoy set to take his place under center and although he faces the leagues worst pass defense I’ll be intrigued to see the success he has. The Giants defense also play the run well and have no issue’s getting after the passer meaning Russell Wilson will have to be at his elusive best if he’s going to avoid ending up on his back often.
Pretty short and sweet with this one as there’s no way the Giants walk into Seattle and beat the Seahawks with a backup QB. As for my best bet we’re going back to last weeks winner, Will Dissly and although we can’t find a Receptions line for him we’re going to take the under on his Receiving Yards line which is set at 17.5 which is a number he’s only gone over 3 times this season and after not even receiving a target last week we wouldn’t be surprised if he has another game with 0 catches.
PREDICTION: SEATTLE 24 – 13 GIANTS
BEST BET: Will Dissly UNDER 17.5 Receiving Yards – 5/6 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
