BALTIMORE RAVENS @ CINCINNATI BENGALS

Another ‘Win and In’ divisional game as the 10-5 Ravens travel to Ohio to take on the 4-10 Bengals who’re somehow riding a two game winning streak without their starting QB and RB.

The Ravens have four straight wins and know that making it five will secure them a playoff spot which after losing 3 of 4 before this winning run was looking unlikely. Lamar Jackson has improved the last few weeks, and although he’s not playing at his MVP form from last season, his dual threat ability makes him a nightmare to defend against, and with 80 or more rushing yards in 3 of these unbeaten 4 games shows that the Ravens are now using him properly instead of attempting to convert him into a throwing predominant QB. The Ravens defense will be hoping to be healthy after listing a good amount of starters as ‘Questionable’ including both starting Cornerbacks, but with the post season on the line I expect to see every effort made to field their best possible side.

The Bengals doubled down on their big win over the Steelers with another win last week against a Texans side who were berated by JJ Watt after the game. Cincinnati are definitely capable of causing a huge upset here as confidence will be high but without Joe Burrow and Joe Mixon they’re not a particularly strong offense and will have their work cut out trying to put points up against this Ravens defense.

The Ravens need a win to seal their playoff place and although the Bengals will be motivated at the possibility of stopping their divisional rivals making the post season, I just trust the Ravens to keep up this winning streak and see themselves safely into the post season.

For my best bet I’m going back to the JK Dobbins well, the rookie runner has yet to have over 15 rushing attempts this season yet the bookies keep setting his line at U/O 15.5 so until he goes over 15 we’ll keep taking the under. I’m also having a small play on the Bengals to cover the spread, although I think they’ll lose the game I think 14 points is too many for a team who’ve won their last two games.

PREDICTION: RAVENS 27 – 20 BENGALS

BEST BET: J.K. Dobbins UNDER 15.5 Rushing Attempts – 8/11 with SkyBet. 1 point bet.

NEXT BEST: BENGALS +14 points – 10/11 with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
