NFC North clash with nothing but draft position on the line as the Vikings travel to Motor City to play the five win Lions. Both sides are on a three game skid, who’ll finish the year with a win and who’ll ride a 4 game losing skid into the 2021 season?

The Detroit Lions will once again be without star pass catcher Kenny Golladay, the big bodied pass catcher has been unavailable for the majority of his contract year and it’ll be interesting to see what happens with him in the off season, It’s also likely the Lions will sit QB Matt Stafford after he’s struggled with knocks, and with nothing on the line I think the smart move would be to sit the signal caller.

Minnesota will be without their best player on offense as Dalvin Cook will sit out the final game of the season leaving what should be a full workload for Alexander Mattison, even without Cook this offense has enough weapons to give the Lions defense a hard time, expect rookie Justin Jefferson to see plenty of work as the Vikings look to pad his stats in his quest for the OROY award.

The Vikings are more talented and Mike Zimmer will be demanding a reaction after his defense gave up over 50 points to the Saints last week, I’m expecting to see a much improved defensive display in a Vikings win today.

For my best bet I like Justin Jefferson to go over his 5.5 receptions line, the rookie has 6 or more receptions in 5 of his last 7 games, and I really think the Vikings will be trying to pad out those rookie season numbers for him as he challenges but ultimately falls short to Justin Herbert in the Offensive Rookie of the Year award race.

BEST BET: Justin Jefferson OVER 5.5 receptions – EVENS with SkyBet. 0.5 point bet.
